Pajarito Powder’s Barr Halevi recently presented Deployable Precious Metal Free Low Temperature Fuel Cell Catalysts, at the Fuel Cell Seminar & Energy Exposition held November 16-19th at Los Angeles’ Westin Bonaventure Hotel. The Fuel Cell Seminar & Energy Exposition is the premier U.S. conference for the fuel cell and hydrogen industry, and attracts an international audience. The Fuel Cell Seminar features the latest fuel cell and hydrogen products, technical and market research, policy updates and commercialization strategies for all applications and market sectors. The Fuel Cell Seminar is the foremost event for networking with industry representatives, customers, stakeholders and decision makers interested in the clean, reliable, resilient power potential of fuel cells.
Dr. Halevi presented recent advances in deployable precious metal-free catalysts. In addition to updates on the state-of-the art in non-PGM catalysts Dr. Halevi highlighted the recent release of manganese-based catalysts with excellent selectivity, stability, and compatibility with membranes and ionomers. He also showed improved performance of prototype CCM and MEA’s available from Pajarito to allow rapid sampling of Pajarito catalysts.
