Dr. Saburo Hori

Director of Business Development, Asia

  • Monitor the development of fuel cell technology and its Asian market.

Dr. Saburo Hori started his professional carrier with Kureha Chemical Industries to develop a crude oil cracking technology with Union Carbide Corporation. Dr. Hori later spent five years with Toyota Central R&D Laboratories, eventually becoming Ceramic Laboratory Manager, before moving to Lanxide Co., where he served as a developer of ceramic composite materials before the company was acquired by Degussa. Following the acquisition, Dr. Hori has held a variety of technical, managerial and consulting positions with Degussa, OMG and Umicore in Japan.
