Pajarito Powder has received $1M in commitments from the Verge Fund to commercialize non-platinum fuel cell catalysts developed at major research institutions. With the funding, Pajarito Powder will be maturing the catalyst formulation, making it more manufacturable, constructing a catalyst manufacturing facility, and engaging with customers. PPC will have samples available in late 2012 for select customers. PPC is currently designing a plant that will be making pilot runs in early 2013 and will be ready for full-scale production in mid 2013.
