Stuttgart, Germany provided a vibrant, international locale for the recent World of Energy Solutions f-Cell Conference, where Pajarito Powder exhibited for the first time. Pajarito Powder’s team was able to reconnect with industry contacts, while sharing its central message and key product offerings with f-Cell Conference attendees.

Pajarito Powder showcased its newest product, PHC-3000, an advanced Engineered Carbon Support (ECS) for use in automotive applications, as well as its precious-metal-free catalysts, the NPC-2000 product line. PHC-3000 is designed for use in high-power density applications where durability and performance must be uncompromising. The NPC-2000, a precious-metal-free catalyst changes the economics of fuel cell catalysts for low-power density applications, by substantially reducing the cost of catalysts.

“We were pleased to share our product offerings with f-Cell Conference’s audience in an ideal forum – one designed to showcase innovative technologies that represent the future of fuel cells and the myriad target applications for those products, ” said Thomas J. Stephenson, Pajarito Powder’s CEO and Chairman. “We were able to interact with many of our European clients while sharing our product offerings with potential customers as well, an ideal outcome in our minds.”

Pajarito Powder’s recent introduction of the PHC-3000 family of products, Engineered Carbon Supports (ECS), mark a significant commitment to the automotive industry, and provide critical performance enhancements over conventional solutions, and at lower platinum loading. Traditional catalyst formulations begin to erode as platinum levels are reduced, affecting power and longevity of the system. Pajarito Powder’s ECS products provide vastly improved carbon corrosion resistance, are inexpensive to produce and can be readily scaled for high-volume manufacturing, all conditions ultimately necessary for cost-effective, widespread fuel cell adoption.
