Pajarito Powder returns to Hannover Messe to exhibit at H+FC

Albuquerque, New Mexico – May 16, 2022 – Pajarito Powder, a developer and manufacturer of advanced catalysts for hydrogen fuel cells and electrolyzers will again exhibit at the Hydrogen+Fuel Cells Europe show at Hanover Messe in Hanover, Germany, May 30 – June 2, 2022 in Hall 13, booth A74.

Now in its 28th year, the conference attracts a global hydrogen and fuel-cell audience from around the world, with representatives from industry, government, and academia. This is the fifth year Pajarito Powder will exhibit at Hydrogen+Fuel Cells at Hannover Messe.

A 10-year-old U.S.-based developer and maker of electrocatalysts for the hydrogen economy Pajarito focuses on advanced catalysts for electrolyzers and fuel cells, across PEM, AEM and Alkaline chemistries.

Pajarito Powder boasts customers across the automotive OEM spectrum, as well as major electrolyzer manufacturers and suppliers, with customers in Asia, North America, South America and Europe. Hyundai Motor Group is a Series-B investor in the company.

Pajarito Powder will be at Booth A74 in Hall 13, near the West entrance to the fairgrounds. CEO and Chairman Thomas J. Stephenson and CTO of engineering and manufacturing Olaf Conrad will be available for interviews. Dr. Conrad is a native German speaker.

Prior to co-founding Pajarito Powder in the spring of 2012, Mr. Stephenson was a co-founder of the Verge Fund in 2003, and currently serves as Managing General Partner in addition to his responsibilities with Pajarito Powder. Mr. Stephenson has worked with a number of current and past Verge portfolio companies, including Altela and Wellkeeper, and was previously on the Board of Directors of LabStart, a joint-venture entity created to assist in commercialization of technologies from Los Alamos National Laboratory, one of the sources of technology for Pajarito Powder. About Olaf Conrad, Ph.D.

Dr. Conrad’s career spans 20+ years of leadership experience in electrochemical energy conversion technologies in four countries on three continents. His most recent roles included the establishment of South Africa’s flagship Centre of Competence in Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Catalysis, HySA/Catalysis in Cape Town, South Africa as their Director and overseeing all technical areas of the Redox Flow Battery product line at Schmid Energy Systems in Freudenstadt, Germany. Immediately prior to joining Pajarito Powder, between 2016 and 2021, he grew German battery startup Jenabatteries from five to 35 employees and a valuation of a quarter billion dollars as their Managing Director.
