Pajarito Powder, LLC announces it will attend The Electrochemical Society PRiME conference, taking place October 2-7, in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.

ECS Prime is the largest research conference of its kind in the world. Held every four years, the international gathering is the joint effort of The Electrochemical Society (ECS), The Electrochemical Society of Japan (ECSJ), and The Korean Electrochemical Society (KECS), with the technical co-sponsorship of the Chinese Society of Electrochemistry, the Electrochemistry Division of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, the Japan Society of Applied Physics, the Korean Physical Society Semiconductor Division, and the Semiconductor Physics Division of the Chinese Physics Society.

CEO & Chairman Thomas J. Stephenson presents on the topic, “Engineered Carbon Supports for Low Precious-Metal-Content Catalysts,” at 10am on Wednesday, October 5th. Mr. Stephenson stated, “This is a remarkable opportunity for Pajarito Powder to present advancements in our Engineered Carbon Supports that greatly enhance the corrosion resistance of Pt/C catalysts to our peers in the electrochemistry community.”

Pajarito Powder manufactures several carbon products, including a precious-metal-free catalyst, the NPC-2000 product line and the PHC-3000, an advanced Engineered Carbon Support (ECS) for use in automotive applications. PHC-3000 is designed for ultra-low loadings of platinum, in high-power density applications where durability and performance must be uncompromising. The NPC-2000, a precious-metal-free catalyst changes the economics of fuel cell catalysts for lower-power density applications, by substantially reducing the cost of catalysts.
