We Specialize

Pajarito Powder manufactures a range of electrocatalyst products for fuel cells and electrolyzers using its own trade secrets, intellectual property and IP licensed from Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the company produces high-purity iridium oxide (OER) catalysts for PEM water electrolysis, advanced mesoporous carbon supports -our proprietary Engineered Catalyst Supports- as foundational building blocks for high-performing fuel cell cathode (ORR) catalysts, along with other novel platinum, platinum alloy and non-PGM supported catalysts for PEMWE cathode (HER) and fuel cell anode (HOR).

VariPore™

The general template approach of VariPore™ is a template mechanism using specific precursors to create carbon support materials that enhance the superior activity, stability and durability of the catalyst. VariPore™ provides the scalable platform for highly tailorable morphologies of these carbon materials and opens to the door to other applications where mesoporous carbons can be applied.
