Pajarito Powder at Hannover Messe 2014
July 20, 2014
Pajarito Powder chose the Group Exhibit: Hydrogen+Fuel Cells+Batteries at HANNOVER MESSE, April 7th-11th, for its European trade show debut. Taking place at the Exhibition Grounds in Hanover, Germany, the event proved another strategic win for the company and allowed tremendous networking and industry exposure.
In addition to enjoying a high level of traffic from a variety of component, stack and system manufacturers, Pajarito generated interest from several new potential customers and partners during Hannover Messe.
Pajarito also participated in both Public and Technical forums, with good attendance and feedback from both. Dr. Barr Halevi, Pajarito Powder’s President and Chief Technology Officer, presented Optimizing MEA performance with non-PGM catalysts (link to video), and Tom Stephenson, Pajarito Powder’s Chairman, wasinterviewed in the show’s public forum on the growth of opportunities for non-PGM catalysts in fuel cells. Interestingly enough, the first question was about the acclaimed Breaking Bad television show…apparently, Albuquerque’s infamy – at least in character – extends across the Atlantic.
Both events proved highly beneficial from an exposure standpoint, and generated numerous positive conversations in the following days.
Barr Halevi, President and CTO said “The decision to attend Hannover Messe was absolutely the right choice. Not only were many follow-up meetings with established customers scheduled, the event provided us the largest single opportunity to meet up with potential customers and partners in Europe, a key strategic geography for Pajarito Powder’s cost-effective fuel cell catalyst technology.”
Pajarito Powder benefits from resources provided by the State of New Mexico Economic Development Department: JTIP, STEP and other programs through the Office of Science and Technology.
