Successful Annual Merit Review (AMR) for Pajarito Powder

Pajarito Powder team members, Barr Zulevi and Alexey Serov participated in this year’s Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Meeting June 14th and 15th, hosted in Arlington, VA.
The US Department of Energy (US DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EREE) hosts the annual event which features presentations from principal investigators from dozens of research institutions and private companies, presenting their work for peer evaluation. All US DOE funded hydrogen and fuel cell technologies under evaluation
are subject to peer review.
Plenary speakers for this year’s event included Pierre-Etienne Franc, of Air Liquide, Dr. Katsuhiko Hirose of Toyota Motor Corporation, and Thierry Lepercq of Engie. Representatives of most of the major companies involved in hydrogen, fuel cell, electrolyzer and related fields were in attendance, including Toyota, General Motors, BMW, Volkswagen, 3M, as well as numerous others.
There was strong participation from New Mexico entities, including Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories.
Pajarito Powder CTO & President Barr Zulevi presented at this year’s poster session, sharing results from recent advancements. “This year’s event was fantastic and is a direct reflection of the excellent stewardship by the Fuel Cell Technology Office (FCTO), which provides de facto leadership for the industry, globally. Pajarito Powder received great feedback and we continue to use AMR as an opportunity to meet with customers, throughout the presentations,” effused Dr. Zulevi. Dr. Alexey Serov, Pajarito Powder’s Chief Scientist also attended and commented on the quality of this year’s presentations as, “Superb with very positive developments.”
