June 12, 2017
The biennial Hydrogen and fuel cells summit was held this past week in Vancouver, Canada, with the intention of building awareness around the economic, environmental and social benefits of hydrogen and fuel cells.
The title for this year’s summit was: The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Renewal: Clean Cars, Clean Power, Clean Solutions, and Pajarito Powder’s Chairman and CEO Thomas J. Stephenson took the opportunity to describe the unique approach taken by engineers at Pajarito Powder during the conference’s open presentation session. “Our PEM catalysts have the ability to increase performance and dramatically lower the costs, by substantially reducing the amount of platinum,” commented Mr. Stephenson during his presentation. “We do this by focusing on the forgotten partner of the catalyst system, the carbon support material”.
Dr. Yun Li, Pajarito Powder’s China Market Liaison, also attended the conference and drew attention to Pajarito Powder’s advances in PEM Fuel Cell research, as well as the company’s new initiatives in China. “Our new contacts wish to stay updated on Pajarito Powder’s progress, and even asked for recommendations for MEA companies,” recalled Dr. Yun after the conference.
